Our Story

Letter from David and Stephanie Baron

Our family started this Foundation after observing our three daughters and their near-constant creative and imaginative play. We were inspired by their creations and ideas, uninhibited by the fear of failure or rejection, and unhindered by the weight of adult responsibilities.  After recognizing that many children exhibit similar creative spirits, we saw an opportunity to harness this energy for the betterment of our children and our community.

While many schools are focused on testing and traditional “reading, writing, and arithmetic” skills, we strive to encourage and recognize creativity and innovation.  By creating opportunities for students to work together and be rewarded for their creativity, we hope to incentivize innovative ideas.  We want to provide children the chance to give back to their community in a meaningful way while learning valuable life skills. We recognize that fabulous ideas require resources to become reality and want to ensure that children’s creations and ideas are not limited by financial boundaries.

While there is much negativity and fear in our world, we are both optimistic and driven by the fact that our children have the chance to make a better tomorrow.  We have a lot to learn from our children, whose fantasies may one day be reality if we provide the support necessary to make their dreams come true.
